The Home Improvement Network is a contractor referral service based out of Mundelein, Illinois. Founder and President Pete Thomas started The Home Improvement Network in October 1998. The Home Improvement Network is a small business with 6 employees, which is much of the reason why we have provided such outstanding, reliable, and personal service to its contractors and homeowners. Due to this, we have established a very personal relationship with many of our contractors and vendors. We are one of many contractor referral services operating in the Chicagoland, southeast Wisconsin and metro Phoenix areas. Our service, unlike many past and present contractor referral services, has been able to run a profitable and successful business for the owner and employees. To date, none of our membership contractors have left our service to join another service, or have they found another service superior to our program. We have currently have built up the biggest network of local contractors in the area, which is growing daily. Our contractors service about 95% of all home improvements in the Chicagoland and southeast Wisconsin areas. Our network has been able to service thousands of homeowners with contractor referrals each month since February of 1999. Our company attempts to better the surrounding community by its use of quality contractors and by employing local high school and college students to do promotional marketing tactics. Our service has been so successful in the Chicagoland and Wisconsin areas for our contractors, homeowners, employees and the owner, that we have expanded into the metro Phoenix area in November of 2004.
